Jamie is an experienced professional with 18 years’ experience working in the non-profit sector. He has a broad range of skills including strategy, fundraising, marketing, leadership and relationship management. Jamie has learned from the ground-up and has a warm and engaging style. He has been consulting for families, charities and business since 2017, working on short and long term assignments.
He has operated at senior management level and managed teams large and small across all fundraising disciplines. He led the fundraising operation at Synergos (US), Help for Heroes and the Elton John AIDS Foundation in the UK - and raised seed funding for the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and Prince’s Trust International at inception. His entrepreneurial, collaborative and supportive style of management has helped new charities emerge, grow and innovate.
Jamie is also experienced in the philanthropy and impact investing space, advising high-net-worth families to strengthen their foundations and projects. He has built trust and respect from families across the UK, US, Europe and Middle East. Jamie led the Synergos Global Philanthropists Circle in EMEA, a community of philanthropists and social investors using their time, resources and influence to fight poverty and social injustice. social change.
Finally his pro bono activity includes being the Strategic Growth Trustee of ADVANCE - the Armed Forces Trauma Rehabilitation Outcome Study and he is also a board member of a private family foundation in Sweden focussed on human rights.
